Hi and welcome to Geo by Evad!

A little about me.  I was raised in rural central Pennsylvania.  As a kid I loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, and especially collecting rocks and crystals.  In 1980 I moved to California, and by 1985 I was attending Humboldt State University. Being a geology student at HSU solidified my passion.  Life was good.

Sometime around 1988 I took pictures of rock thin sections under a microscope. You do this to help identify the rock and view all the cool crystals.  For over thirty years I’ve held onto these beautiful images with spectacular crystal designs thinking someday I’m going to use them. Well, someday has come!

In 2020 I noticed that a lot of people were wearing fun patterns on their leggings.  I had an earthquake moment.  The pictures I took would make great legging designs.  Hence, the metamorphism of rock to leggings.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed bringing them to you.

be like a crystal...have many faces and go rock your world

Cheers,

Dave
